Our Aim

Cooking With Devotion, Serving With Care

"Bhakti" means devotion — and that's exactly what goes into every dish we make. We're a pure vegetarian kitchen built on tradition, honest ingredients, and the belief that a good meal should feel like coming home.

Who We Are

A Kitchen Rooted in Tradition

Bhakti Foods was founded on a simple promise: to bring the honest, comforting flavours of Indian home cooking to our community in Newham. Every recipe on our menu — from a Gujarati thali to a South Indian dosa — has been passed down through generations, cooked the way it always has been, with patience and care.

We never compromise on our pure vegetarian principles. No meat, fish or eggs are ever prepared in our kitchen, and we offer Jain and Swaminarayan-friendly dishes without onion or garlic on request, so everyone in the family can eat with peace of mind.

What Matters To Us

Our Aim

Four principles guide everything we cook and serve.

🌿

Pure Vegetarian, Always

A dedicated vegetarian kitchen from day one — no exceptions, no cross-contamination, no compromise.

🍃

Locally Sourced

We work with local greengrocers and suppliers across Newham to keep our produce fresh and our ingredients honest.

📜

Traditional Recipes

Family recipes from Gujarat, Punjab and the South, cooked the slow, proper way — never shortcut, never rushed.

📋

Tiffin Service

Rooted in the Indian dabba tradition — fresh, home-style meals delivered daily for those who want a proper meal without the cooking.

Our Journey

How Bhakti Foods Came To Be

A Family Kitchen First

Bhakti Foods began the way most good food does — in a family kitchen, cooking thalis and curries for friends and neighbours who kept asking for more.

Opening Our Doors on Plashet Road

We opened our kitchen on Plashet Road to serve the wider Newham community with the same recipes, the same care, and the same pure vegetarian promise.

Bringing Tiffin Service to London

Seeing how many people missed home-cooked food, we launched our daily and weekly tiffin service — a proper meal, delivered fresh, every day.

Serving You Today

Today, Bhakti Foods serves thalis, curries, South Indian favourites and tiffin meals across the local area — still cooked fresh, still made with devotion.
